A Memorable Birthday Party

About Me

A Memorable Birthday Party

When I was a child, my parents always strived to make my birthdays special. They often planned lavish parties for me. My mom always purchased a specialty cake from a local bakery. My cakes were often decorated with my favorite cartoon characters. As an adult, I often enjoy looking at candid pictures of these happy celebrations from my childhood. I want to provide my children with the same type of memorable birthday parties. In order to do so, I plan to hire entertainers. For instance, when they are young, I may hire a clown to entertain them at their parties. When they become teenagers, they might enjoy being entertained by a professional disc jockey at their celebrations. On this blog, you will discover how to plan memorable birthday parties for your kids with the help of professional entertainers.

Three Myths Surrounding Hypnotist Comedy Shows

For a number of people, the idea of a hypnotist comedy show may seem frightening. The idea of another person taking over your mind, and making you do or say things you don't even realize, makes most people uncomfortable. The idea that a hypnotist will "take over your mind" is just one myth concerning these shows. One of the most overlooked things about a hypnotist comedy show is that it really is meant to be a fun experience, not a stressful one. Taking the time to learn fact from fiction might help you discover that this is an experience you might actually enjoy.

I Will Be Forced To Participate

Some people are under the impression that while at a hypnosis comedy show, the hypnotist will randomly pick people from the audience to perform the process on. The reality is that anyone that participates in these types of shows has given prior consent.

Whether the individual gave their consent to participate before the start of the show or while sitting in the audience, hypnotists don't just go out and randomly select people. You can rest assured that you can attend any one of these shows without fear of feeling like you will be an unwilling participant.

The Hypnotist Will Control My Mind

The most common myth concerning hypnosis is that the hypnotist will take control of your mind. This is simply untrue. Hypnosis is not about taking control of someone's mind; the hypnotist acts a guide or offers suggestions.

Prior to the process and after you have consented to participate, the hypnotist will conduct an interview asking you questions. Based on your responses, the hypnotist will offer you suggestions. You will only react to those suggestions that you agree with. Those things that you don't agree with it will automatically be dismissed by the subconscious mind.

Hypnosis Is Dangerous

There is also the idea that hypnosis is dangerous. As previously stated, hypnosis is not mind control. Hypnosis does not alter the manner in which your body operates or even pose any negative effect to your health and safety. In a nutshell, hypnosis is simply a state of being hyper-aware.

In a state of hyper-awareness, your body functions are the same; you just have a more heightened sense of the things that are going on around you. While in this state you are also still able to react swiftly to an emergency.

Life is all about new experiences. Don't let a misconception about hypnosis keep you from enjoying something new and exciting.
